Welcome to (tentatively titled) Jonathan & Victoria
Welcome to my first feature film production.
This a simple story (of the most basic type) between a man and a woman and the complications that arise over the course of a relationship.
The story is slicing and direct in its intentions to put an audience in a very simple "situation."
It's deceptively simple, yet, infinitely complex.
I designed this project to be about 2 people, a relationship element, and to be shot for almost nothing.
It's a story about "fated" love in a way.
It's a story that deals with co-dependency and toxicity in relationships.
It's a very simple film where my influences are Goddard, Truffaut, and Bergman.
I love the films of the French New Wave. And for this particular piece, I'm going to be referencing Bergman and his kind of "icy" style.
(Yeah, I know, he puts some people to sleep, but, I'm not gonna do that... : )
And the following story (of which I've written several), this particular story is very close to my heart. So, after two years of work, 20 some years of watching decent films, and all that what I've poured into it... This film is going to be the result.
